MED 2 let’s goooo!!!
2010.
The thing about time is that it moves forward, It doesn’t stop for the world and it clearly does not stop for one person. I myself have wished for time to stop on countless occasions this year. At times when we laugh and couldn’t catch our breath, we close our eyes and savor every second, for we know things will never happen twice.
If I were to describe my life this year, one word would not suffice. I was barely standing at the start of 2010, everything in my life did not make sense but meeting a few good people changed everything and for that I will forever be grateful. Earlier this year I bid farewell to nursing and said hello to medicine, with this I welcomed sleepless nights, failures and stressful days into my life. Drowning in the field of medicine I thank my friends, colleagues and family for keeping my head above water. =)
Here’s a walk down memory lane -2010:
I got drunk with life this year, experiencing it’s highs and lows, I was able to taste the pleasures of doing nothing and the pains of doing everything all at once. Dancing with life means putting one’s heart out in the open, giving it all, risking it all and taking a leap of faith.
To friends- old and new and to my family, Thank you for a great year! :)

During one episode, Robin freaks out in a restaurant when she mistakenly thinks Ted is proposing to her after she receives a champagne glass with an engagement ring at the bottom. When Ted tells her “That’s not mine”, another gentlemen at the table behind them says “It’s mine”, then proceeds to propose to the woman at his table. The proposal between the man and woman was real. The man set up the whole scheme with the show’s producers, and told his girlfriend that they won a contest and got to be extras in a HIMYM episode. Instead, he proposed on camera, and the proposal will live on forever as part of the episode.

I finally had the time to watch Stephenie Meyer’s 3rd book from the Twilight Saga- Eclipse (my 2nd favorite book next to Breaking Dawn). Despite Jacob Black’s hot bod…my heart stays with Edward- every single day of forever. ;) hahahahahaha and yes, I can’t wait for Breaking Dawn! ☺☺☺
I love him. Not because he’s beautiful or because he’s rich! I’d much rather he weren’t either one. It would even out the gap between us just a little bit — because he’d still be the most loving and unselfish and brilliant and decent person I’ve ever met. Of course I love him. How hard is that to understand?

now i remember.
As I climbed my way up to discussion room 4 today, I saw a little girl. Judging by her looks, I can tell that she was a patient admitted at German Doctor’s. She smiled at me as she uttered the words “good morning te”, surprised I smiled back and greeted her in return, then she walked away.
For the past few days, I have been talking to myself, questioning if this here is the life that I really want to live for the next 4 to 6 years. Are all of these worth it? God is good, today I remembered, that innocent smile is my reason. I got my answer. God gave me exactly what I needed. Thank you. :)

XU-JPRSM held it’s annual Acquaintance Party for freshmen students last June 19, 2010 at VIP hotel. This is my “last laag”..i think, i hope. haha :) Anyway, I had uber fun that night…met a lot of cool new people and i’m looking forward into meeting more! ;p
